What is an online consultation tool?

An online consultation tool helps patients beat the morning rush by submitting their request online. Patients can use it to submit medical or administration requests.

Patient Triage is Accurx’s online consultation solution, allowing patients to contact their practice via an online form. It replaces Patchs.

Do not use Patient Triage for medical emergencies. Call 999 instead. Find out more about when to call 999

Once you submit your request, it will be dealt with by a trained triaging team.

A healthcare professional may call you or want to see you in person. Please answer the questions with as much detail as possible when submitting your request.If we require more information from you, we may reply asking for additional information.

When using Accurx’s products and services, the Healthcare Organisations retain their responsibilities as Data Controllers. Accurx acts as the Data Processor in line with its Data Processing Agreement.

Accurx has completed NHS England’s thorough assurance process so they can be bought/used by healthcare organisations in England. They comply with the high data privacy/security and clinical standards set in NHS England’s Digital Care Services Catalogue.

Accurx has successfully completed NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit assurance (under NHS ODS code 8JT17), and both the Cyber Essentials and the Cyber Essentials Plus* certification.

It is also ISO27001 certified.
