Community Health Workers
(CHWWS | Chewies) 

Our community Health and Wellbeing Workers are the perfect bridge between midwives and health visitors, social workers, other professionals and the residents. They visit people in their households and can support people proactively when needed. Pimlico Health @ The Marven have 4 Chewie members that can provide the following support to residents who live in Churchill Gardens: 

  • Discuss and listen to family members 
  • Helping patient to connect with the right services 
  • Letting them know what prevention opportunities they might be eligible for e.g. cancer screening / vaccinations. 
  • Assisting them with making appointments and attending appointments 
  • Linking them to resources in the community that they might not be aware of. 
  • Checking in on them after hospital discharge 
  • Connecting people to each other in the community, and so much more!
