Pimlico Health @ The Marven provides baby clinics every Tuesday afternoon. This includes 6 – 8 weeks checks with one of our GP Partners and our Practice Nurse. For 6 week checks you will only be booked in with a GP but please make sure you book an appointment with the Nurse for the 8 weeks immunisation. For any administration of immunisations please make sure to bring your child’s red book with you to the appointment.  

The GP will check the following: 

Baby’s eyes, heart, hips and for boys – testicles will be checked. GP will also do a height, length and head circumference measured. 

The GP or your Health visitor will discuss your baby’s vaccinations with you. They are offered at 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks and 12-month-old, and before your child starts school.
