Getting test results

Clinical Tests

We provide a range of investigations at the practice including blood tests, urine analysis, ultrasound and cardio-respiratory investigations (ABPM, ECG and lung function tests). These results are reviewed by a GP or nurse and if a follow up appointment is required, the practice will contact you.

If a routine or urgent follow-up is required, our Reception Team will contact you. Administrative staff are trained to provide normal and satisfactory results, which may not require a GP or nurse appointment, but are not able to provide clinical advice or information.

The practice will only contact you if there is further action following your test results.

If you would like to chase your results, please:

Check your results online

The easiest way to get your results is via the NHS app, you will be able to see all your results on the app. We will text you if you need to be reviewed by the doctor or nurse.

If you do not have online access yet to the NHS app,

Call the Practice

For results enquiries, please ring the administrative team after 2pm. Please note, the practice is closed at the weekend.

Please allow 1 week prior from the date of test before calling the Practice. This allows time for the laboratory to process the test and GP to review the results.
