Quality Care Commission CQC.

 

We underwent our CQC inspection in Dec 2015.

We were rated as good in many areas; were praised for the excellent work we had completed to date since the merge the year prior, it was noted that we needed to improve in one area which was safety.

Please note that since the introduction of the friends and family test in 2014, Pimlico Health has taken the strategic decision to utilise the tool of supplied by “iWantGreatCare”.  Currenty we have >700 patients reviews, with an overall rating of 5 stars on the Friends and Family Test.

 

We have been comended by LMC for and CQC the way the practice embraced this approach through the use of the portal show we care what our patients think, and that their views based on their experiences matter to our practice.

 

Due to NHSE not correctly altering NHS Choices page to reflect our approach to patients feedback, we no longer signpost patients to this, nor do we reply to comments on there.

 

The practice has a duty of care to report all feedback monthly to NHSE and the “iWantGreatCare” allows us to fulfil that requirement as part of our contract.

 

 

NHS Choices 

          

The practice has been working hard over the last 6 months to improve its NHS Choices ratings, and level of input from patients on this feedback platform, currently sitting at 55 published forms of feedback.

 

While the practice has recognised that not all feedback is published, it continues to improve the rating, taking it from 2 stars 12 months ago to 3 stars currently.

The practice would like be rated 4 stars for delivery of care and health services by 2018.

 

The practice has taken the initiative to create the NHS Choices template onto card to allow patients to give their feedback in writing and the practice uploads on their behalf, thus ensuring that those who do not have access to internet, or do not have technical skills, still have an opportunity to give feedback.
